The purpose of the New Faculty Academy is to engage new faculty in meaningful professional development and networking activities during their first year at the University of North Florida. Through these activities, we hope to build a community of faculty who support and encourage each other in their professional growth. Utilizing NCFDD’s Core Curriculum and campus-based meetings, participation in the New Faculty Academy will provide you with opportunities to strengthen your pedagogical knowledge and skills and advance your scholarly agenda. Further, the New Faculty Academy will provide documentation of your professional development efforts that can be used in annual evaluations and promotion dossiers.
