The Juxtaposition of a Code of Ethics and Academic Integrity at UNF: Integrity and the QEP

The Juxtaposition of a Code of Ethics and Academic Integrity at UNF: Integrity and the QEP In-Person

Have you ever laid awake at night wondering how to deal with an issue of academic dishonesty in one of your classes or has a colleague come to you asking for advice about how to deal with an issue of academic integrity in their class? Or have you given what you believe to be the appropriate penalty for academic dishonesty only to worry that the student or others at the University might disagree with your reasoning?

As more and more material is out on the Internet, as technology makes it easier and easier to share information and we offer more and more online courses, the opportunities for good students to be even better is exciting, however at the same time the threat to the Academic Integrity that UNF is built on has never been more at risk.

The purpose of this meeting will be to discuss the UNF’s QEP as it relates to academic dishonesty so that the campus community support a coherent plan for helping students to better understand their responsibilities for maintaining academic integrity and how we as faculty can create a process where we all understand how to clearly enforce violations of academic integrity.

Be a part of the campus conversation.
